Under the spout is a motif comprising two intersecting vertical zig-zag lines of polychrome flowers and leaves, repeated three times more round the body, and alternating with a similar motif comprising intersecting zig-zag lines of pink and blue ribbons, the diamond-shapes between filled with a gold diaper pattern, and the ribbons outlined with gold dots.
