On each side of the pot, between the borders, there is a bouquet of the same flowers enclosed in an oval garland of leaves and berries, tied at the top with a mauve ribbon with a gold disc in the centre. The remainder of the body is strewn with cornflowers. The spout is decorated with a spray of dark pink roses, and with a garland of leaves at the junction with the body and round below the end. The cover has a garland of leaves round the knob and a yellow border en suite with those on the pot. There are gold bands round the foot, the junction of the spout and body, and the edge of the cover; and dentilated bands round the inside of the neck, and the tip of the spout. The handle has gold lines down its sides and husks and dots down its back.
