All the circular apertures are outlined in white slip. the top of the chest and the top of the sides of the projection in front of it are spotted in slip, and on each side there is a painted slip plant spray which uses the three small circular holes as its berries. On the back there is a lozenge shape divided into four compartments with a spot in each, over which is a figure of eight with open ends and four horizontal spots behind them. The scrolls across the front are outlined in white slip, and the front of the chest is painted with the initials and date 'U:B: 1794'.
