The spreading circular foot is decorated with two applied bands either side of a border of embossed stylised flowers and scrolls.  Beneath this is embossed a cross.  The foot stands on a narrow applied foot rim.  Under the foot is an engraved signature 'OMAR RAMSDEN ME FECIT' and the inscription 'H. THOMAS.d.d.AMICI ELIENSES A.S.MCMXXXV.' The circular paten (A) is almost flat and stands on a narrow foot rim.  It is decorated with spot hammering, and has the remains of gilding on the upper side .
